I enjoy a variety of architectural styles but have a particular soft spot for gothic architecture. As a child sitting in church I paid little attention to the sermon because I was fascinated by the grandeur of the setting. As an adult, after reading Pillars Of The Earth by Ken Follett, my admiration grew for the skill required to create the beautiful gothic cathedrals that survive even now. I hope you enjoy this collection of some of my favorite aspects of these beautiful architectural wonders.
