Gothic Spires I - Photo Collection

I make it a point during my travels to visit as many gothic cathedrals as I can manage and even if I cannot gain access to the interior, I thoroughly enjoy the exteriors as well including the spires that are incredible.  Locally, near my home, a church recently had its spire rehabilitated.  It was an incredible effort and the details that are visible from the ground are inspiring.  I could not begin to comprehend working at that height let alone having the wherewithal to produce such beautiful results.  I hope you enjoy this collection of some of my favorite aspects of these beautiful detailed wonders.
